WHO IS NURI CIHAN OZDOGAN?

He was born on September 30th, 1990 in Kadirli and he has been live in Adana / Turkey since 1996.
He studied Mechanical engineering. He is doing his masters degree about cinema at Cukurova University. He's working at Cukurova Technopark as Enterprise Europe Network project expert.
He started to write stories about his family when he was at high-school. He transformed the stories to screenplays during the university years. After his graduation he started making short films. Sükut (Silence, 2016) which was made by with Tunahan Kurt, won first award in Adana's local festival. It was first award for Cihan also. Sirat (2016) which is directed by Cihan and written by with Ahmet Soysal, screened in 11 different countries from 3 continents. Sirat won first International Best Film Award from China in 2016. Sirat was nominee for best screenplay and best cinematography awards in very prestigious film festival in Nice/France called International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema. His third short film called Sirayet (The All Seeing Blind, 2017) was made by more crowded team. Sirayet has spectacular cast, Kemal Burak Alper, Engin Yuksel, Serdar Seker and Osman Eren. Sirayet began to collect awards at 1st Hollywood Turkish Film Festival by winning audience award. Sirayet won 14 awards so far and had some prestigous nominations from national and international film festivals. Sirayet collected Best Fiction Film and Film Of The Year Awards from Cambridge Watersprite Film Festival among 1,000 films from 100 countries. Sirayet also won Second Best Short Film award from Beirut International Film Festival which is Academy Awards Qualify festival. If Sirayet had won the Best Film Award, Sirayet would be considered for the Best Live Action Short Film Oscar Award.
He is founder and owner of Remz Film Production Company in Adana. He is a member of Association of Turkish Short Film Directors also.
He's married and has one child. He continuous making short films in Adana and preparing his first feature film called "MASQUERADE".
